1. What this is

BaZi Compass provides educational and entertainment content about the traditional Chinese system of BaZi (Four Pillars). By using the site you agree to these terms.

2. Not professional advice

Everything on this site — charts, readings, articles and tools — is provided for educational and entertainment purposes only. It is not medical, psychological, financial, legal or investment advice, and it is not a substitute for consulting a qualified professional. Never ignore a professional’s advice because of something you read here.

3. The entertainment framing

Traditional Chinese metaphysics is a cultural system of symbols and reflection. Interpretations are artful opinions built from a documented set of conventions; different readers may reasonably disagree. Charts are computed algorithmically from your inputs and are provided “as is”.

4. Your use of the service

• The free chart casting may be used for any lawful personal purpose.
• Do not scrape, abuse, or attempt to reverse-engineer the site at scale.
• You are responsible for the birth data you choose to share with others via share links.

5. No warranty; limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content.

6. Ads and unlocks

Some readings are unlocked after watching an advertisement provided by a third-party ad network, or via the no-ad fallback. We keep the site free this way. Ad behavior is governed by the ad network’s terms and privacy policy.

7. Intellectual property

Site text, design and English readings are © BaZi Compass. The underlying calendar engine (tyme4ts) is MIT-licensed open source. Content may not be republished without permission except as permitted by law.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be noted here with a new “last updated” date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
